Relocating to Bronson, MI -pros and cons?

So, I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 14.4%, which is around average. Rent is about $775/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Downtown for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The job market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a pharmacist and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
