Living in Brook Park -the reality

I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $1,090 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $67,178, which feels about average for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Good schools
- Lots of new development
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- Boring for young people
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing from you all. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
