Career opportunities in Brookfield, WI

Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2018. It's a a smaller city city with about 41,592 people. Rent is about $1,794/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely improving and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Downtown) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
