What I wish I knew before living in Brookhaven

So, Homes are going for about $254,500 on average. Rent is about $1,077/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $84,962 in Brookhaven. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? Cheers. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The public transit is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
