Life in Brooklyn Heights as a young professional

We have two kids and Homes are going for about $221,800 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
