Studio apartments in Brooklyn -options?

First post here. I've been here for 5 years and The median home value here is around $123,600, which is actually reasonable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
