Grocery stores in Brooklyn -recommendations?

First post here. I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Brooklyn sits at 264.5 per 100K. Median household income is $69,535, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $153,000, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $69,535 in Brooklyn. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Old Town for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- The cultural scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
