Random thought, I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Brooklyn sits at 264.5 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
