Things Brooklyn Park needs to improve
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Military spouse here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Downtown. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..
