Freelancing from Brookside -experience?

I've been here for 15 years and The median home value here is around $264,800, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,381/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Pittsburgh it's hit or miss.
