Not sure if this has been asked before, but Homes are going for about $112,400 on average. Thoughts?

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to LA it's challenging.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Houston about 2 years ago. The main reasons were family and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..
