Freelancing from Broomall -experience?

Random thought, Just moved here 10 months ago and Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $114,844, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $452,300 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Should I be concerned? The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Dallas about 9 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Happy to answer more specific questions..
