Hey, You can expect to pay around $2,074 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 75,110 people. Rent is about $2,074/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 11 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
