Anyone work in healthcare in Browns Lake?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Anyone in a similar situation?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

I've lived in Sunset for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Close to major attractions
- The safety scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a real estate agent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

I work in consulting here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is underrated. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Atlanta about 2 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
