Hey, I'm a 26-year-old writer and Median household income is $48,675, which feels on the lower side for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value walkability, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely average and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from LA, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Chain restaurants dominate.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Moved here from New York about 15 years ago. it was the best decision I ever made. Still getting used to healthcare but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
