Hi all, I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $48,675, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $122,400, which is actually reasonable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The cultural scene is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 13 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
