Best things about Bryan that nobody talks about
As a 8-year resident, here are some things about Bryan that don't make it into the guides:
1. The local music scene is really vibrant
2. The library system is phenomenal
3. Cost of living is way better than people think
It's not for everyone but it's perfect for us.

Check out the Lakewood area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Riverside. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Don't sleep on Downtown. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Downtown and Maple Heights are perfectly safe.
