Bryan housing prices -when will it stop?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 12 years and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. Poverty rate is 16.5%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- The walkability scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is tough in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
