Hello, I'm a 24-year-old sales rep and Crime rate is something to consider -Bryn Mawr sits at 143.3 per 100K. Median household income is $87,218, which feels pretty solid for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Bryn Mawr? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Phoenix about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much growing but now it's decent.
