Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 5,777 people. The median home value here is around $391,900, which seems about average. Rent is about $2,113/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,113 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I work in hospitality here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in The Heights for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- The healthcare scene is solid
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
