Best areas to explore in Bryn Mawr-Skyway?

I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,721 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to San Diego it's challenging.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely excellent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (West) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Limited entertainment options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Moved here from Houston about 10 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to healthcare but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor recreation is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
