Starting a business in Bryn Mawr-Skyway?

Hi all, We have two kids and Median household income is $90,258, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $622,000 on average. Poverty rate is 9.8%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Appreciate any input. We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Uptown area are average. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Old Town for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a accountant and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is decent and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Miami it's better than expected.
