Buckeye is underrated, change my mind

I keep seeing people overlook Buckeye when talking about great places to live. With a population of 99,844, it's big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel like a community. The downtown area has been revitalized. The weather is great — warm most of the year with an average of 75F.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Coming from San Francisco, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

My kids love it here. So many parks and activities. People are super nice.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

I've lived in Southside for 4 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.
