Rent vs buy in Buckhall -what makes sense?
Hey folks, Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 11 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
