Buena Park is underrated, change my mind

Poverty rate is 5.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $108,187 in Buena Park. Rent is about $2,112/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Lots of new development
- Active local events

Cons:
- Lack of diversity
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Maple Ridge. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Hope this helps!.
