What to expect moving to Buenaventura Lakes?

Just moved here 6 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Buenaventura Lakes sits at 667.9 per 100K. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 32,310, Buenaventura Lakes is a smaller city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Does this match your experience? Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
