Hello, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 51°F, so expect cold winters. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Moved here from Nashville about 11 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to walkability but Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from San Diego about 6 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are stable, gas is solid.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
