So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from New York about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- The community vibe scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I work in hospitality here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is improving. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
