First post here. We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $58,179 in Buhl. Average temperature is around 37--F, so bundle up in winter. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
