Hi all, Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $196,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 5.3%, which is about average. The median home value here is around $196,900, which is actually reasonable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
