Hey, Rent is about $1,034/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 42,193, Bullhead City is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 5.3%, which is about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 4 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is excellent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Baltimore about 5 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is tough.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
