Thinking about relocating to Bullhead City from Minneapolis
Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $196,900 on average. Median household income is $47,717, which feels on the lower side for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What do you all think? TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Raleigh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were work and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is decent in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
