Is Bunker Hill Village worth moving to in 2026?

Random thought, With a population of 3,801, Bunker Hill Village is a small town. The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Pine Hills. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Thai.

No regrets on my end..
