Is public transit usable in Burbank?

Curious what people think. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,822 people. Median household income is $83,975, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $258,900 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
