How are the schools in Burien?

Hey folks, I'm originally from San Francisco and The median home value here is around $609,300, which is pretty steep. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.
