Studio apartments in Burien -options?

OK so I'm a 39-year-old software engineer and With a population of 51,331, Burien is a smaller city. Median household income is $90,597, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,742/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Close to nature
- Lots of new development
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Hot summers
- High property taxes
- Lack of diversity
- Poor road conditions
- Far from major airports
What would you do? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
