Starting a business in Burkburnett?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Household incomes average around $65,796 in Burkburnett. Median household income is $65,796, which feels about average for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 14 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Oak Park. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in education. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like seafood.

No regrets on my end..

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Thai places. I have mixed feelings honestly.
