Burke is underrated, change my mind

I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $2,715 for rent here. Homes are going for about $696,800 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Greenfield area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely hit or miss and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Uptown) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to San Francisco it's average.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.
