How are the schools in Burkesville?

The unemployment rate is 0.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $32,361, which feels on the lower side for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in West area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely decent and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Homeless population growing downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
