Burleson is underrated, change my mind

First post here. We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $94,162 in Burleson. Rent is about $1,665/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $282,900 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 50,981 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Limited dining options
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
Let me know your thoughts. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Phoenix about 5 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are manageable, gas is average.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
