Burlingame in the winter -how bad?

OK so Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $2,000,001 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 30,526 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Bought a house here in 2017 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.
