Hello, Rent is about $1,609/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Seattle about 7 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is tough.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
