Is it worth buying in Burnet?

I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 6,630, Burnet is a small town. Median household income is $88,000, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience?

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
