Is it worth buying in Burnsville?

Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Moved here from Dallas about 8 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but No regrets on my end..
