Hi all, Military spouse here. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Atlanta about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is excellent.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Used to live on the Old Town side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
