Career opportunities in Butte-Silver Bow, MT

I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 9.0%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $808 for rent here. The median home value here is around $225,100, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $225,100 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..
