What surprised you most about Byron?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $78,235 in Byron. Rent is about $941/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Byron? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.
