Cadillac quality of life -am I missing something?

Curious what people think. Median household income is $50,512, which feels on the lower side for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. What are your go-to spots? Thanks! The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- The pet-friendliness scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
