Crime rate is something to consider -Caguas zona urbana sits at 2,771.8 per 100K. Rent is about $613/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $133,400 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.
