Things that make Caguas zona urbana unique

Curious what people think. Poverty rate is 38.4%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $613 for rent here. Homes are going for about $133,400 on average. Average temperature is around 78--F, so it's warm year-round. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Uptown area are excellent. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Tampa about 5 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is decent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2018 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.
